By using Strider, you agree to these terms. We provide a velocity tracking tool for agile teams. You're responsible for your account security and the content you create. We strive for high availability but can't guarantee uninterrupted service.
1. Scope of Application
These Terms of Service govern the use of the web application "Strider" (hereinafter referred to as the "Service"), operated by Dennis Hundertmark (hereinafter referred to as the "Provider").
2. Service Description
Strider is a tool for tracking and analyzing Agile team velocity. The Service enables teams to:
- Manage sprint data and team information
- Visualize velocity trends over time
- Create capacity forecasts based on historical data
- Track work items and story points
The specific features and functionality may evolve over time as we improve the Service.
3. Registration & User Account
3.1 Account Creation
Use of the Service requires registration via Keycloak authentication. You must provide accurate information during registration and keep it up to date.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Any activity under your account is your responsibility.
4. Usage Rights & Restrictions
4.1 License Grant
You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your personal or business purposes in accordance with these Terms.
4.2 You Agree To:
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes
- Not upload any illegal or harmful content
- Respect the rights of third parties
- Not attempt to circumvent security measures
- Not reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Not use the Service to spam or harass others
4.3 Prohibited Activities
The following actions are strictly prohibited:

- • Distributing viruses or malicious code
- • Scraping or automated data collection without permission

5. Data Protection

We will attempt to notify you in advance of planned maintenance that may affect service availability.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1 Liability Scope
The Provider is liable only for damages arising from intent or gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence is excluded, except where it concerns:
- Injury to life, body, or health
- Breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal duties)
- Claims under mandatory statutory liability provisions
7.2 Data Loss
While we implement backup procedures, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of critical data. We are not liable for data loss except in cases of intent or gross negligence.
8. Modifications to Terms
The Provider reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. You will be notified of significant changes via email or upon your next login. Continued use of the Service after such notification constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
9. Termination
9.1 Termination by User
You may terminate your use of the Service at any time without cause. You can request account deletion by contacting the Provider.
9.2 Termination by Provider
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we deem harmful to the Service or other users.
9.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease immediately. All your personal data will be deleted within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.
10. Intellectual Property
10.1 Service Ownership
The Service, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by the Provider and protected by intellectual property laws.
10.2 Your Content
You retain all rights to the content you create using the Service (team names, sprint data, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process this content solely to provide the Service to you.
11. Final Provisions
11.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
11.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
11.3 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Provider regarding the use of the Service.
